Main objective To provide financial independence and to improve their health and nutrition, women will get Rs 1500 per month through Direct Benefit Transfer (DBT) in their bank account from the state government. So all the women will get 18000 rupees per year.

Majhi Ladaki Bahin Yojana Eligibility-
All Married, divorced women, widows womens and one unmarried woman of the family are eligible for this scheme.
- The applicant woman must be a resident of Maharashtra state.
- The age of the applicant woman should be at least 21 years and at most 65 years.
- The applicant woman must have a bank account linked to Aadhaar card.
- No member of the applicant woman’s family should be an income tax payer.
- The applicant woman should not get the benefit of Rs 1500 or more from any other government scheme.
- The total annual income of the applicant woman’s family should not exceed Rs 2.5 lakh.
- No four wheeler should be in the name of anyone in the applicant woman’s family except the tractor.
